Times for a change

I don't think people only change because of bad things. Most people do thought. Most learn from their former mistakes. They think since it happened if they change what they do than it wont happen again. But a lot of people do it just because it is better to do. They know if they want a better outcome than they have to chang the procces they used last time.

NONE YOUR BUSINESS!!!

I have to admit I have jumped into other peoples business when I shouldn't have. I didn't mean to though. I would just hear something people would be saying and I would join in. Some times I think you need to interfere. When people are talking about doing something stupid like fight or hurting themselves or others. I think then you have the right to step in and do something about it. Because if you dont you dont know what could happen.

Its all about the Benjamins

Yes i think a lot of people are driven by money. Our country is driven by money. Its always a race to see who can be the wealthiest

Money does lead to happiness to some people, But to others it doesn't. Happiness is what you make it. You can be the poorest person in the world and still be happier than the wealthiest person.

I don't think people with a lot of money are any better than anyone else. They may think they are but they are just the same.

Some people fall in to wealth. Others work very hard for what they have.

They don't have to but it would be really nice if they did. I think they should because it would make them feel better about themselves knowing they they helped the less fortunate.

Lets get ready to RUMBLE!

I remember one time me and my brother got in to a fight. The fight was my fault I guess. I remember he said something I didn't like so i kept on saying stuff back to him until it turned into a physical fight. I didn't really try to avoid the fight. Only because he made me so mad. We stayed mad at each other for a while. We filially got over it though, and our relationship stayed the same. I learned that I need to control my self some times though.

GrOwInG pAiNs

Some of the things I think are exciting about growing up is becoming my own person. I can make my own decisions now. I don’t have a curfew any more. I get to do what I want. I also like knowing that I can be independent. I’m at the age where I can move out and start over new. There are some things though that aren’t so exciting, Like having to pay my own bills. I now have to start paying rent and utilities. I have to have a job now also. I have to work all the time to get the money I need for the things I need and want. Sometimes that makes me wish I was still little and didn’t have so much responsibility.

Assignment 7

When is breaking a law justified? I have two examples where that just happened. I think both example did the right thing. If the didn't break the law thing would still be the same.

The first example is the early Americans when the wanted to become independent form Britain. I think they needed to do this because if they didn't Britain would have kept "bullying" them around. It was a good thing that they stood up when no one Else would. They changed the country for ever.

The next example is the people during the Vietnam war burning their draft cards. This defiantly needed to be done. The country was not allowing young men to stat their own opinion about the war. They just threw them in with out any say so. The burning of draft cards made the government realize that it wasn't going to work.

Theses are some of the times i think u can break the law. Try to get the attention of important people need to be heard and have the freedom to do what they want.

Boston Massacre (reflection)

I learned that if you weren’t British than you were treated differently by the British soldiers. They had no reason to chase after those boys. They were just walking on the streets. I was surprised someone would actually act like that. Then they fired upon people because people were throwing SNOW balls at them? That’s just not right.

Can i get a REVOLUTIOIN woot woot!

1. Justice
2. Protection
3. Managing the economics
4. Providing freedom
5. Keeping the country in order

I think I would join a revolution. It’s our right to have all of that. If the government doesn’t provide it for us we have to do something about it.

A Well-Ordered Family

After I read A Well-Ordered Family, I think I learned just how much emphasis people put on god. I already knew that the puritans were really strict about sex and marriage but this story just shows haw strict they really What I thought was the weirdest thing was that arguing was considered to be evil. The difference between then and today is very big. Back then if someone was to get a divorce they were probably condemned. In present times there are many divorced families. It’s not very uncommon for this kind of thing to happen now. Now women have a lot more rights. Back then the men were the only people with rights, now everyone is treated the same. The people back then were very religious. But people now, not all believe in god. There is a very big population of people who don’t.

Why people Migrate

-I think people immigrate to the U.S. because of hopes to live a better life. They come to start over new. Also the living conditions in the U.S. are a lot better then other countries. They also come too be free. Many countries don't have freedom, so people move here to become free.- I don't think I would really to move any where. I like living here, I have all the freedom I want. The economics in the U.S. are not to bad. I think i could live with them.

Diffent Strokes...

I don't think people only change because of bad things. Most people do thought. They think since it happened if they change what they do than it wont happen again. Put a lot of people do it just because it is better to do.

Rich People....

Rich people....What can i say. I wish some times I was as rich as some of those people. But I don't envy them. A lot of the wealthy in the US have worked very hard to get their money. A lot of them when they were growing up didn't have much of any thing. Because of that I think they should share it with where their from. Give back to the community........and some to me.......

Why do others immigrate?

1. What motivates immigrants to come to the United States (today)? Consider what they lose and what they can gain in your argument.

2. Thousands of Europeans chose to move to the British colonies. Some for economic reasons and some for freedoms. If you decided to immigrate somewhere, would you move for economic reasons or for freedom?

-I think people immigrate to the U.S. because of hopes to live a better life.

The come to start over new. Also the living conditions in the U.S. are a lot better then

other countries. They also come too be free. Many countries don't have freedom, so
